Dua 11
Recite the following words three times:
O Allah! Grant me well-being in my body. O Allah! Grant me well-being in my hearing. O Allah! Grant me well-being in my sight. There is no deity except You. O Allah! Indeed, I seek refuge in You from disbelief and poverty, and O Allah! Indeed, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave. There is no deity except You.
The reciter says “wa a‘oodhu bika min ‘adhaabil qabr” instead of repeating “Allaahumma innee a‘oodhu bika”.
Hasan, Sunan Abi Dawud, no. (5090), and al-Albani graded it Hasan in “Sahih al-Adab al-Mufrad” (page 261). The words in brackets are not in the original book, but they are in the hadith.
Its chain is hasan; “Ja'far bin Maymun” in the chain is hasan in hadith, and the majority also authenticated him. For details see: Anwar an-Nasihah (d/5090).
