Dua 3
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنَّ فُلَانَ بْنَ فُلَانٍ فِيْ ذِمَّتِكَ وَحَبْلِ جِوَارِكَ فَقِهٖ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْقَبْرِ وَعَذَابِ النَّارِ وَاَنْتَ اَهْلُ الْوَفَآءِ وَالْحَقِّ فَاغْفِرْ لَهٗ وَارْحَمْهُ اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْغَفُوْرُ الرَّحِيْمُ
O Allah! Indeed, so-and-so son of so-and-so is in Your care and under Your protection, so protect him from the trial of the grave and the punishment of the Fire. You are the One of faithfulness and truth, so forgive him and have mercy on him. Indeed, You are the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful.
Sahih, Sunan Ibn Majah, no. (1499), the wording is his, Sunan Abi Dawud, no. (3202), al-Awsat of Ibn al-Mundhir (5/441), where al-Walid states hearing all along the chain, and al-Albani graded it Sahih in “Ahkam al-Jana'iz” (page 125).
