What to say to someone who supplicates for blessing for you?

Dua 1

To the one who says ” بَارَكَ اللّٰهُ فِيْكَ “ “May Allah bless you.”, it should be said:

وَفِيْكَ بَارَكَ اللّٰهُ

And may Allah the Most High bless you too.

  1. Hasan, 'Amal al-Yawm wa al-Laylah of an-Nasa'i, no. (303), 'Amal al-Yawm wa al-Laylah of Ibn as-Sunni, ed. al-Barni, no. (278), and al-Albani said: “Its chain is good”; see: Takhrij al-Kalim at-Tayyib of al-Albani, no. (239).

Ibn Hajar (RH) called “Ubayd bin Abi al-Ja'd” “saduq”, that is, truthful. (Taqrib at-Tahdhib of Ibn Hajar, no. 4366)

Imam Ibn Hibban (RH) (died 354) also called him trustworthy, and said: “عبيد بن أبي الجعد يروي عن جماعة من الصحابة”, “Ubayd bin Abi al-Ja'd narrates from a group of the Companions” [ath-Thiqat of Ibn Hibban, Uthmaniyyah print (5/138)]. So the denial by some, without any proof, that Ubayd bin Abi al-Ja'd heard from our mother Aishah (RA) does not deserve attention.
