Dua 1
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ وَعَلَى سُنَّةِ رَسُوْلِ اللّٰهِ
In the name of Allah and according to the Sunnah of Allah's Messenger (we bury you).
Sahih, Sunan Abi Dawud, no. (3213), the wording is his, Sunan at-Tirmidhi (1046), Sunan Ibn Majah, no. (1550), Sahih Ibn Hibban, no. (3109), as-Sunan al-Kubra of an-Nasa'i, no. (10861), and al-Albani graded it Sahih in “al-Irwa'” (3/197) no. (747).
Ibn Majah, Ibn Hibban and several narrations have the words “بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ وَعَلٰى مِلَّةِ رَسُوْلِ اللّٰهِ”, while the narration of at-Tirmidhi mentions both forms together. The narrators differ over narrating it as marfu' or mawquf; Imam an-Nasa'i and others narrated it only as mawquf, and the view of most hadith scholars is that this narration is mawquf, while some hadith scholars also accepted the marfu' narration as correct, and this is also the view of Allamah al-Albani (RH) [al-Irwa', no. 747]
