Dua 1
اَللّٰهُمَّ بَاعِدْ بَيْنِيْ وَبَيْنَ خَطَايَايَ كَمَا بَاعَدْتَّ بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ اَللّٰهُمَّ نَقِّنِيْ مِنَ الْخَطَايَا كَمَا يُنَقَّى الثَّوْبُ الْاَبْيَضُ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ اَللّٰهُمَّ اغْسِلْ خَطَايَايَ بِالْمَآءِ وَالثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرَدِ
O Allah! Put distance between me and my sins as You have put distance between the east and the west. O Allah! Cleanse me of my sins as a white garment is cleansed of dirt. O Allah, wash away my sins with water, snow and hail.
Sahih al-Bukhari, no. (744), the wording is his, Sahih Muslim, no. (598), Sunan Abi Dawud, no. (781), Sunan an-Nasa'i, no. (60), Sunan Ibn Majah, no. (805). The original book gave the wording of Muslim, but we have given the wording of al-Bukhari.
