“Allah's Messenger said: When night begins, or (he said) when it is evening, keep your children in (and do not let them go out of the house), for at that time the devils spread out. Then when an hour of the night has passed, let them go. Close the doors and mention the name of Allah at that time, for Satan does not open a closed door. Tie up your waterskins mentioning the name of Allah, and cover your vessels mentioning the name of Allah, even if only by placing something across them, and put out your lamps (before sleeping).”
