اَللّٰهُمَّ اسْقِنَا غَيْثًا مُّغِيْثًا مَّرِيْئًا مَّرِيْعًا نَّافِعًا غَيْرَ ضَآرٍّ عَاجِلاً غَيْرَ آجِلٍ
O Allah! Give us rain that is helpful, pleasant, bringing growth (and) beneficial, not harmful, coming soon and not late.
Sahih, Sunan Abi Dawud, no. (1169), and al-Albani graded it Sahih in “Sahih Abi Dawud” (4/333) no. (1060).
اَللّٰهُمَّ اَغِثْنَا، اَللّٰهُمَّ اَغِثْنَا ، اَللّٰهُمَّ اَغِثْنَا
O Allah! Give us rain. O Allah! Give us rain. O Allah! Give us rain.
Sahih al-Bukhari, no. (1014), Sahih Muslim, no. (897), the wording is theirs, Sunan an-Nasa'i, no. (1518).
اَللّٰهُمَّ اسْقِ عِبَادَكَ وَبَهَآئِمَكَ ، وَانْشُرْ رَحْمَتَكَ ، وَاَحْيِ بَلَدَكَ الْمَيِّتَ
O Allah! Give water to Your servants and Your animals, spread Your mercy and give life to Your dead land.
Hasan, Sunan Abi Dawud, no. (1176), and al-Albani graded its chain Hasan in “Sahih Abi Dawud” (4/340) no. (1067).
For some to call it weak because of the 'an'anah of Sufyan ath-Thawri is wrong, because the hadith scholars agree that the 'an'anah of Sufyan ath-Thawri is accepted; see: [Anwar al-Badr (page 315 to 373)]. Moreover, many narrators also support Sufyan; for details see: Anwar an-Nasihah (d/1176).
