O Allah! Make him a forerunner…

It is also good to say the following words:

اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ فَرَطًا وَّذُخْرًا لِّوَالِدَيْهِ وَشَفِيْعًا مُّجَابًا اَللّٰهُمَّ ثَقِّلْ بِهٖ مَوَازِيْنَهُمَا وَاَعْظِمْ بِهٖ اُجُوْرَهُمَا وَاَلْحِقْهُ بِصَالِحِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَاجْعَلْهُ فِيْ كَفَالَةِ اِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَقِهٖ بِرَحْمَتِكَ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيْمِ وَاَبْدِلْهُ دَارًا خَيْرًا مِّنْ دَارِهٖ وَاَهْلًا خَيْرًا مِّنْ اَهْلِهٖ اَللّٰهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِاَسْلَافِنَا وَاَفْرَاطِنَا وَمَنْ سَبَقَنَا بِالْاِيْمَانِ

O Allah! Make him a forerunner and a treasure for his parents, and make him (for them) an intercessor whose intercession is accepted. O Allah! Through him make their scales heavy and make their rewards great; join him with the righteous believers; place him in the care of Ibrahim (peace be upon him); protect him by Your mercy from the punishment of Hell; and give him in exchange a home (that is) better than his home and a family better than his family. O Allah! Forgive our predecessors and our forerunners, and (those) who preceded us in faith.

1. This is not a hadith; it is only the personal saying of some scholars, so clearly it has no standing in the Shari'ah.
