Supplication when entering the house

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ وَلَجْنَا وَبِسْمِ اللّٰهِ خَرَجْنَا وَعَلَى اللّٰهِ رَبِّنَا تَوَكَّلْنَا

In the name of Allah we enter (the house), in the name of Allah we leave, and upon our Lord we rely.

After saying these words, greet your family with salam.

1. Da'eef because its chain is broken, Sunan Abi Dawud, no. (5096), and al-Albani withdrew his authentication of it in “ad-Da'ifah” (12/731). “In Sahih Muslim no. (2018): when a man enters his house and, when entering and when eating, remembers Allah, Satan says: there is no place for you to spend the night here, nor any dinner (the author).”
