Supplications for relief from debt

Dua 1

O Allah! Suffice me with Your lawful (provision) against what You have made unlawful, and by Your bounty make me free of need of anyone besides You.

Caution:- Shaykh Yasir bin Fathi al-Misri, who did the takhrij of the author's detailed book “adh-Dhikr wa ad-Du'a' wa al-Ilaj bir-Ruqa min al-Kitab wa as-Sunnah”, made a strange mistake: he took “Abd ar-Rahman bin Ishaq” in this chain to be “Abu Shaybah Abd ar-Rahman bin Ishaq al-Wasiti”, who is weak by agreement, and then, on this misunderstanding, he called this hadith weak [adh-Dhikr wa ad-Du'a' --- (1/395)]

Whereas in this hadith “Abd ar-Rahman bin Ishaq” means “Abd ar-Rahman bin Ishaq al-Qurashi al-Madani”, who is trustworthy, as is stated clearly in the chains of Musnad Ahmad and others. See also: Anwar al-Badr fi Wad' al-Yadayn ala as-Sadr: page 590, Bayt as-Salam print.

Dua 2

O Allah! Indeed, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, from helplessness and laziness, from miserliness and cowardice, and from the burden of debt and being overpowered by people.
